I had a 2 night stay. I was in an updated room. The plumbing was just finished. The plumbing was actually installed incorrectly. I let management know and everything was fixed right away. The room was great for my needs. The hotel is right in the center of downtown Vernal. Clean room. New bedding. New climate control. Great value. Ownership doing their best to make stay comfortable.

Great budget motel. Clean and comfortable. For the price we paid this was a great bargain. Staff were friendly and helpful. 4 or 5 pillows per bed with some variability to the softness. Decent little continental breakfast included ( not a large variety of things, but a few good good options of different kinds--waffle maker, fruit, cereal, milk, good juice, toast/jam, cold hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and probably a couple more things). The waffle maker needs a measuring cup and a better sign with instructions to tell users to use the non-stick spray (instead of the tiny instructions that people clearly keep missing as they create messes due to not using it).

The staff were amazing, somethig thats not very usual at motels for this cheap price. Room was very clean as well, loved the stay!

Very welcoming motel, rooms with modern furnishings feel more like a quality apartment stay than average hotel/motel space. Recommend if staying in Vernal!

The Sage Motel was an excellent place to stay during our time in Vernal! The motel is situated in the heart of Vernal. You can walk to stores, restaurants, and a bowling alley. The staff was incredibly generous and helped us resolve a booking issue. Not the fanciest of places, but great for visiting the area on a budget

Stayed there for an event and it was right in the center of Vernal, Utah. It was only minutes to anywhere in Vernal. It is an older building but the rooms have been updated. Everything worked just fine. The breakfast was not much, which was the only negative. However, the value of price and location was the most important to me.

Due to unforseen circumstances, I had to spend 3 nights at The Sage Motel here in Vernal. A couple people said it was not a good idea to stay here. I don't know why. Christy and Orlanda (I hope I am spelling your names correctly) could not have been any nicer or be of more help than they were. They were both very kind, caring and compassionate as well as very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I love, love, love the bed. I actually slept through the night each night, something that is unusual for me. Again I don't know why I was warned against staying here, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this place to others. I felt very safe here, maybe that is why I slept through the night. I am NOT saying I got special treatment due to some health issues, mostly a broken humerus in my left arm. If I did receive special treatment, thank you. If I did not, thank you. You made a tough situation a little easier to deal with. Last, if people have an issue with The Sage, give them another try. I would be surprised if whatever issue you have, was not dealt with properly, professionally and with a smile from Christy and Orlanda.
